Dr. Chris Workman moved to Canada from the UK in 1998. He was raised in Calgary, Alberta, which he proudly calls home.
Dr. Workman earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary in 2014 and a Bachelor of Science from Athabasca University in 2017. During this time, he rose to leadership positions in multiple industries and performed research in nutrition and microbiology.
After graduation, Dr. Workman began working as an optometric assistant with Dr. Bishop & Associates. This position inspired him to pursue a career in optometry, and he completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in 2023. During his training, he also performed research on dry eye disease at the Centre for Ocular Research and Education.
When not providing care, Dr. Workman enjoys reading, hiking, golfing, watching films, and travelling the world.
