What Types of Skin Blemishes Can Be Treated?

Our team will carefully evaluate your skin to see if our laser skin treatment is a good fit for you. Generally, Vasculaze can help with:

  • Facial & spider veins
  • Port wine stains
  • Leg veins
  • Telangiectasias
  • Angiomas

Please note that larger, deeper skin concerns like varicose veins may not be suitable for Vasculaze.

What Should You Expect with Vasculaze?

Everyone has unique skincare goals, so we start with a consultation to discuss your specific concerns and objectives.

During this consultation, we’ll discuss your medical history and lifestyle so we can understand your needs better. This information helps us develop an effective strategy that works for you.

During Your Laser Vein Treatment

Vasculaze is a quick, noninvasive treatment that typically takes only a few seconds to treat a blemish.

The laser technology sends light pulses onto the skin, breaking down damaged blood vessels until the blemish slowly fades and disappears. The body then reabsorbs the blood vessels during the natural healing process.

You may feel a slight tingling sensation as the blood vessels are heated, but the cooling technology helps keep your skin comfortable.

Your treatment protocol depends on the size and depth of the blemish. Typically, 3 treatment sessions are required, but some people may need more.

Improvement is gradual, but noticeable changes can be seen after the first treatment. In general, laser skin treatments are effective in reducing the appearance of visible veins.

What Is Recovery Like After Vasculaze?

You don’t need downtime after your laser skin treatment, so you can easily fit your visit into your lunch break.

You may experience minor redness or bruising, but these typically fade within a few days.

After your treatment, we recommend avoiding heavy exercise for a few days and protecting treated areas with SPF.

Vascular lesions are more common than you might think.

Spider veins affect more than 50% of women but can be more common for adults over 50. And clusters of broken blood vessels—which can show up on the face or anywhere on the skin—are much more common because they have various common causes, from genetics to sun exposure to environmental irritants.

Our laser skin treatments can help treat and prevent existing blemishes from worsening.

What Causes Vascular Lesions?

Vascular lesions occur when veins or blood vessels are damaged—just like a bruise forms when the skin is damaged. Some lesions are small and vanish quickly—but others can be deep and stick around for a while.

There’s a broad range of reasons why you might end up with a vascular lesion, like a birthmark or a cluster of redness from a powerful sneeze.

Some common risk factors associated with vascular lesions include:

  • Family history & genetics
  • Natural aging
  • Rosacea
  • Gaining weight
  • Standing for long periods
  • Pregnancy
