Dr. Laurel Harmar was born and raised in Calgary, where she completed her undergraduate degree at Mount Royal University before moving to Glendale, Arizona to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. Harmar had rotations in Arizona, California, and Utah. During these rotations, she gained extensive experience working alongside ophthalmologists and in specialty clinics focusing on pediatrics, glaucoma, and dry eye.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Harmar is an avid adventurer who loves the mountains, spending her free time hiking, camping, and rock climbing.
