Dr. Geena Hawker attended optometry school at the Arizona College of Optometry in Glendale, AZ. She graduated in June of 2022 and is excited to be home and practicing in Calgary.

Being the daughter of 2 nearsighted parents, Dr. Hawker developed an appreciation for eyecare at a young age. Throughout her schooling, her appreciation grew into a passion. Dr. Hawker has a special interest in myopia management and pediatric optometry.

During her last year of school, Dr. Hawker had the opportunity to work alongside ophthalmologists in Arizona. She also provided optometric care at a private practice in Tennessee and a federally run hospital serving members of the Aaniiih and Nakoda nations in Fort Belknap, MT.

In her spare time, Dr. Hawker enjoys camping, hiking, and hanging out with her husband and their dog, Odin.
