Dr. Bharadia grew up in Calgary, starting his post-secondary education at Mount Royal University in 2010. After 3 years of undergraduate studies, he was accepted into the Optometry school at the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico.
During his time in Puerto Rico, Dr. Bharadia learned some clinical Spanish and participated in volunteer screenings that provided eye care to underserved communities.
In his final year of education, Dr. Bharadia completed clinical externships. He focused on private practice in Edmonton, ocular disease in Miami, and refractive and cataract surgery in Los Angeles. He also conducted research to develop therapies to treat dry eye disease.
In 2017, Dr. Bharadia graduated with his Doctor of Optometry degree and returned to Calgary to join the team at Dr. Bishop & Associates.Dr. Bharadia enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending time with his family and friends. He also loves to play golf. Dr. Bharadia is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists, the Alberta Association of Optometrists, and the Calgary Society of Optometrists.
